Life as a Foreign Student

Studying abroad is a great and wonderful experience. I think every student should go and experience the beautiful world to grow and learn from different cultures and regions. I am so blessed to have had the experience to study in University of Hamburg in Germany.

The courses I studied here introduced me to fields and analytical techniques, many of which are not covered by my course of study back in my country. A lot of the new outlooks and concepts. They allow students to take courses in different majors and many of which are not offered at their home institutions. Before I applied to study abroad, I carefully examined programs on JSTWA to see which courses are available where. The courses are less based on theory and more on practical exercises. We have a lot of discussions on the course and were quite free to choose what kind of exam we want to do. You can take a good insight of various courses offered by university by looking at their website link.

University of Hamburg have a very relaxed and welcoming culture, making it very easy to get familiar and meet the students and faculties. Life in campus is really exciting. It’s not about studying all the time but meeting and having fun with people around. The university provides many facilities to get involve in various social activities. In this way, I learned that developing strong relationships with people is one of the most important and worthwhile things in life. Here you can find about the exciting experiences of campus life.

Staying in a foreign country for a longer period of time does not only improve your linguistic skills, but it also provides you with the possibility to understand and experience a new culture. During my stay in Hamburg, I especially like the kindliness of the people and that they directly involves the foreign students in all the local activities. Since I am doing a study abroad myself, I feel the need to recommend it to everyone else as this will be a once in a lifetime experience. With this being said, getting to know the German way of life is a very exciting experience that will always accompany you and to some extend become part of you. Everyone who has the chance and opportunity to study abroad, they should avail it.
